Online Reputation

Emily is a joy to be around and her online reputation speaks to that truth. The biggest theme across her profiles was that she values her family. She has five kids and most of her cover photos are them smiling together. Most of her posts are about her children which shows she is a very devoted mother.

Furthermore, she has been tagged in several posts from relatives sharing funny or useful information. Her sister tagged her in a video singing with her. She started the post with, "My sisters have been such incredible support for me through a lot of really challenging things." This validates the assumption that she values her family because she has supported them through hard times. Similarly, they still do things together that are relevant to their history as sisters like singing. They sang a song from an old TV show that their grandpa used to watch, showing respect for him and each other.

Although she is separated from her husband, she works to involve her Ex with her children. There's posts of them playing a board game and also one of her cover photo pictures is her ex with their children. I assume that she wants her children to stay close with both of the parents even though their circumstances have changed. This shows great courage and resilience because that situation is not easy. Lastly, her family blog is attached her about Emily section on Facebook. While I was searching it, it was a private blog where you had to have access permitted in order to see it. I interpret this as her wanting her family's privacy in tact because they are very important to her, so she doesn't want their lives open for the world to see.

Emily is also very driven. She values her education and work. She went to BYU-I and got her associates and took a four year break and then came to Utah State to receive her Bachelors degree. She's still in progress, but as a mother going to school, that takes a lot of work and persistence and she did just that. Most people after a four year gap in school would just give up, but she came back and is finishing strong. She also has put her work and school experience on both Facebook and Linked in, so it must be important to her. She's worked at a Developmental Specialist for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences for about two years and the job before that she kept for almost four years. This shows that she invests fully in whatever job she is involved in. Her LinkedIn bio expresses how she is "Adept at fund-raising, donor relations, event planning, office/personnel management." This shows that she is good with people, pays attention to detail and that she organized

One fun thing about Emily is that she is very passionate about historic buildings. She includes this information in her LinkedIn bio, but it was evident in her Facebook as well. She started a group on Facebook for the historic home of John Edward Roueche Home. As I continued searching I came across pictures of her and her new home, what I assume is the old home of Roueche! They remodeled parts of the inside, but she still lived in history. The fact that she decided to take on a project of working on an old home because of the history that lay within shows that she truly loves historic buildings.

Overall, Emily is a caring, devoted, creative individual and her online reputation shows so much of that.
